June - My favourite summer products and treatments

Oh my gosh!!! 

It's June where has the time gone? I can't believe that we are half way through the year it's madness. However it means its summer holiday season woooooo. I know I'm not the only one who spends weeks/months preening ourselves ready for our holidays! We all want our hair,skin, lashes, nails and everything else to be on point for the summer and for any holidays you might be going on. We all spend a fortune on products and treatments so I'm going to recommend a few products and treatments that I have and use to get me holiday ready!


 Nu skin marine mud mask

This mask is a dream come true, it removes dirt, oils and impurities as it dries on the skin meaning the minute you wash it off you are left with visibly clearer skin. The mask is a clay mask that contains small fine mud pieces and sea botanicals. The mask removes dead skin cells leaving the skin feeling refreshed and renewed. You can see the mask drawing out the congestion from your skin as the areas of dirt and congestion go a darker shade of green.

You can use the mask on the face and body as it is also great for boils, bites, dry skin and eczema. This mask is often referred to as the acne mask, so many people not just myself have seen amazing results

Exfoliating polishing peel

This peel is amazing it is clinically proven to be the equivalent to having professional microdermabrasion but from the comfort of you own home meaning it makes it a lot more affordable . However it is nice to have the luxury of a proper microdermabrasion in a salon but the treatment is not always affordable for everyone. The peel has pumpkin enzymes in it this ingredient resurfaces, softens and leaves the skin feeling tight and polished. It also has bentonite clay in it which removes dull skin cells and toxins from the face. This peel is quick and easy to use, you get a lot better results from this than an ordinary exfoliator you might use. Your skin instantly feels tighter and smoother after just one use. This peel will work wonders on anyone that suffers with the above concerns that I wrote about for the mask. Which is why using both the products together you get the best results 😍 













My amazing results from using the marine mud mask and exfoliating peel 3 times a week for a month. I now maintain my skin by using the products 1/2 times a week to maintain to glow and to continue to removed dead skin cells and congestion. Which is key for holidays nobody wants congestion red skin when they are on holiday.

Everybody wants whiter teeth all year round but especially when it's holiday time, ready for all those smiley holiday snaps. I've tried many whitening tooth pastes but this is by far my favourite product.This amazing whitening toothpaste by Nu Skin, is a quick easy more cost effective treatment for you all who don't have the time or the money to spend on having their teeth professionally whitened. The tooth paste leaves the the mouth feeling minty fresh and leaves the teeth looking brighter and whiter. The tooth paste contains NO harmful chemicals or peroxides. This amazing tooth paste removes stains helps prevent against cavities. This tooth paste is quick and easy to use and doesn't come with a massive price tag. It's a must to have whiter teeth so get your mitts on this amazing tooth paste.

Diva Colorsport 30 day brow tint

So everyone loves a fresh brow tint no? especially for you fair haired lovelies it makes such a difference. I find it just gives my brows that bit of depth and precision. I still wear a little bit of brow pencil but I find when its a fresh tint i don't need to wear as much and for those of you that want a little bit more definition a brow tint it for you. Now we don't always have the time to make an appointment in the salon and I know myself as a therapist you don't always have time to have treatments on yourself. 

So once again doing one of my Primark hauls I came across this fab little box, Colorsport Diva 30 day brow tint. I thought I'd give it a whirl, I've tried it a few times now and it really does last well. It makes the brows look darker, healthier  and super defined. It's so simple to use and it contains everything you need to carry out the treatment in the box. The box gaurentees up to 16 applications, now for £4.90 that's a BARGAIN. The kit comes in different colour shades depending on your hair colour just make sure you check the box before picking yours up. I went for the dark brown and I leave my tint on for a minute or two no longer than 5 minuets and if your quite fair haired apply and remove 30-60 seconds later, you can always go back over the eyebrows, but you don't want to have them scary dark! It really is amazing to have fresh tinted brows for your holiday when your not wanting to wear any brow pencil around the pool and still feel fab.


Urban Decay - All nighter long lasting makeup setting spray

So if you don't use a setting spray then what on earth are you playing at and if you've never used the Urban Decay setting spray then wowzaaaaa I'm about to change your life. Being a product and makeup junkie I was recommended to try this by a friend and it really is the best setting spray I've found It keeps my makeup in place on a crazy night out I come home and look the same as when I left the house and yes sometimes I fall asleep in my makeup and the girls will say the next morning that it's not even budged which is amazing. So after finding it amazing on a night out after dancing for hours and getting warm in the clubs, I took it on holiday with me. Now I'd like to say I'm one of these girls that feels confident wearing no makeup on holiday but I'm not! So I don't want my makeup looking sweaty or sliding of my face on holiday  so I've taken this on all my holidays and found it amazing.

When spraying my face I usually spray it in an X and then a T shape that way I know all my face has been covered. It not only keeps my makeup on all night and day but makes my makeup look better. If you don't use a setting spray then you need to and you need to get this one. Go to summer makeup saviour.

LVL


LVL by NOUVEAU is a fantastic treatment that takes as little as 45 minutes to perform, meaning 45 minuets of relaxation if you're the client having it done FABULOUS. The treatment can last anywhere up to 6-8 weeks if looked after correctly and is fantastic for those people who don't want lash extensions, want to wear mascara or want any adhesive on their lashes.  LVL has taken the beauty industry by storm, as it gives the appearance of longer lashes and the tinting used in the treatment makes the lashes look darker like you have mascara on. There are 3 different shield sizes meaning clients with all different lash lengths can have the treatment done. The treatment lifts the lashes which gives the similar effect as curling your lashes with a lash curler. However LVL is much more effective and can save you easily 10 minuets a day faffing around with your curlers doing it manually yourself.

 This treatment is THEMUST pre holiday treatment, as it's quick, easy and leaves you with amazing results leaving your lashes looking longer and darker. There is also no fuss with this treatments once its done, other than applying a serum if you wish. You don't need to have infills, there is no maintenance as such like with other lash treatments. The massive benefits from this treatment are a must for holidays as you instantly look awake round the pool with your fab lashes and you can also go swimming and the water won't effect them AMAZING I know!

Shellac Hands/ Feet

Shellac is amazing it's one of  the best things I think to have come to the beauty industry. Why on earth would you want to sit and wait for you regular polish to dry when you can have shellac and it's dry instantly? it's a no brainer. Not only does it dry instantly it looks amazing and glossy for 14+ days amaaaaazing. Meaning shellac is perfect for holidays as it looks beautiful for your whole time away without chipping WINNER! There are so so many colours to chose from and glitters eeeek I love a glitter, there will be a colour for everyone and every occasion. Shellac is a must nail treatment for your hands and feet for your holiday as well as all year round. Shellac suits all length of nails and because it has such a high gloss finish they don't need to be super long to look lovely.  Everyone loves showing their holiday nails off. Shellac is one of the most popular treatments in the salon especially come holiday season.S












Get That Glow

So everyone loves a highlighter, I mean I LOVE highlighters I've got so many. However again on my Primark haul I came across these two highlighters, one powder and one liquid. I quite like to have the option of a powder and liquid depending on what look I'm going for. Now I spend a fortune on make-up and I'm finding Primarks beauty/make-up range is very affordable. I'm really loving these highlighters at the minute these ones have got to be a fave in my make-up bag this month! I often use a more white tone highlighter but I fancied a change and these two are more rose/pinky/silvery tones and I'm loving having the variety. If you haven't looked at Primarks make-up range then you need to asap to get some amazing bargains. Get that summer glow. The photo shows the two the powder on the left and the liquid on the right both you can blend in more or less I've just swatched them quickly on my hand. You probs won't get the full effect from the photo. But they are FAB!💜💜
